Who are we?  George, Yorkie and Gio.  All from the Norfolk branch of Bearsunlimited.

Where are we? Beacon Ring just above Welshpool. Beacon Ring is the site of an Iron Age hill fort, which was used for warning beacons and then celebratory beacons for things like, Queen Victoria's Jubilee. And then for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was planted with trees, hence the poor trig point being very green, as it is now surrounded and over shadowed by trees.

When and why were we there? We were there on Saturday 21st May 2016 as part of an epic journey on the Offa's Dyke Path, a national trail running from Prestatyn to Chepstow.
